Responsibilities
Operate and instruct staff on the use of industry-leading turf equipment and precision turf management tools.
Lead and mentor your crew to deliver exceptional turf outcomes and meet scheduled maintenance targets.
Liaise with clients and site managers, acting as the professional face of Solutions+ on every project.
Complete daily documentation including toolboxes, risk assessments (Take 5s), and site diaries.
Coordinate turf-specific works such as mowing schedules, line marking, and seasonal renovations.
Monitor and manage irrigation systems, troubleshooting faults and optimising water efficiency.
Identify and implement improvements in turf health, site aesthetics, and maintenance efficiency.
Maintain compliance with WHS protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety procedures.
Execute a variety of turf care activities including aeration, scarifying, dethatching, and rolling.
Apply turf nutrition and pest management treatments with accuracy and in line with best practice.
Perform general maintenance tasks including edging, hedging, brush cutting, and leaf blowing.
Support variation works and project delivery including turf installation, drainage, and softscape upgrades.
Report on turf condition and works progress to management, providing insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (Advantageous)
Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (Advantageous)
Driver's licence (manual or Automatic)
National Police Check
Working with Children Check
