So, what duties can you expect to do?

  • Oversee the presentation of high-profile commercial and sporting turf sites across Sydney.
  • Operate and instruct staff on the use of industry-leading turf equipment and precision turf management tools.
  • Lead and mentor your crew to deliver exceptional turf outcomes and meet scheduled maintenance targets.
  • Liaise with clients and site managers, acting as the professional face of Solutions+ on every project.
  • Complete daily documentation including toolboxes, risk assessments (Take 5s), and site diaries.
  • Coordinate turf-specific works such as mowing schedules, line marking, and seasonal renovations.
  • Monitor and manage irrigation systems, troubleshooting faults and optimising water efficiency.
  • Identify and implement improvements in turf health, site aesthetics, and maintenance efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with WHS protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety procedures.
  • Execute a variety of turf care activities including aeration, scarifying, dethatching, and rolling.
  • Apply turf nutrition and pest management treatments with accuracy and in line with best practice.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including edging, hedging, brush cutting, and leaf blowing.
  • Support variation works and project delivery including turf installation, drainage, and softscape upgrades.
  • Report on turf condition and works progress to management, providing insights and recommendations.

What will you need?

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (Advantageous)
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (Advantageous)
  • Driver's licence (manual or Automatic)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
