Job Opportunity

We are seeking an individual to fill a unique role that combines hands-on experience with formal education in sports turf management and greenkeeping.

This position offers the chance to gain skills and qualifications through on-the-job training, complemented by one day of study per week at TAFE. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high-quality sports fields, ovals, and turf wickets according to service agreements and schedules.
  • Inspect conditions, provide recommendations, address minor issues, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Operate equipment, participate in training sessions, and support the team with various duties as required.
  • Work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Nationwide Recognition of School Achievement (RoSA).
  • A current Provisional or Unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake formal study of sports turf management, resulting in relevant qualifications.
