**About Us**

Located in Dandenong South, Whitehorse Truck Centre retails the globally recognised products of Mercedes Benz, Freightliner & Fuso Trucks and quality pre-owned vehicles. We have a dedicated and highly experienced Sales, Service and Parts team.

This position will see you utilising your well-developed leadership skills and your strong parts experience to assist our Parts Manager in leading and managing the parts team.

**Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Supervise the parts team, ensuring they are integrated within the greater aftersales team
- Act as an escalation point for customer complaints or complex matters and resolve these matters in a prompt and satisfactory manner
- Ensure personal sales targets and objectives are met
- Assist with stock orders, pricing, and organisation of stocktakes as required
- Management of staff rostering and ensuring appropriate staff levels for shifts
- Proactively build and develop parts business through building strong customer relationships and consistently delivering a high level of service
- Ensure the front counter is focused on driving parts sales via proactive selling

**Experience and skills**:

- Strong knowledge of the parts market and parts department workings
- Previous experience as a parts interpreter
- Experience delivering a high level of service to customers and building a clear customer value proposition
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead a team
- Experience in external sales and growth strategies
- Ability to lead and motivate teams and build a cohesive team environment
- A passion for sales and driving growth and delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
