Communications Coordinator

_We are seeking a _**_communications coordinator_**_ with strong strategic acumen and solid technical ability to model the use of best practice approaches for culturally appropriate communication and advocacy campaigns. You will utilise highly effective communication skills and tools to support NRCH and CEH in its work as a leading voice for the health, economic and social rights of diverse communities living in Australia._
**Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
**Strategic**
- Provide strategic communications advice and support to the Manager of Communications & Community Engagement of NRCH and to the CEH leadership team.
- Develop internal communications capacity and attributes to be a leading voice in diversity and health.
- Support CEH leadership team to have a strong voice at State and Federal levels.
**Operational/Technical**
- Develop high quality key messages, visual identity, and templates.
- Develop and Deliver NRCH/CEH annual campaigns and support the delivery of key events.
- Oversee our websites and active social media presence, including developing copy and content for CEH platforms and channels of communication.
- Work with staff across NRCH/CEH to develop resources and marketing campaigns.
**Key Selection Criteria**
Essential qualifications, attributes and skills include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement multi-faceted communications strategies, that include the delivery of high level, high impact campaigns and events.
- High level research, copywriting and editing skills, including the ability to write for highly diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in the production of print, online and audio-visual resources
- Well-developed and established media networks
- Experience in developing and pitching a national advocacy/policy agenda and demonstrated campaign leadership.
