Our client is currently seeking an experienced Talent Manager to join their Retail People & Culture Team. Based in their Melbourne Support Office, the Talent Management team provides HR support and guidance to the state operational retail teams.
**About the Role**:
This role is predominantly focused on high volume end to end recruitment for all store management positions, internal succession planning, as well as the facilitation of training to ensure store talent are ready for their next step. Interstate travel may be required (up to 4 times per year for 3-4 days at a time).
Working closely and in collaboration with the Regional Managers across all 7 brands within a state or region, their structured training modules and state talent forums are designed to maintain a strong talent road map in-line with key store roles and specific brand strategies.
Reporting directly to the General Manager People & Culture - Retail, you will be a part of the wider HR team and be responsible for but not limited to:
- Timely management of high volume end to end recruitment for all Store Manager, Assistant Manager and State team members (i.e Visual Merchandisers)
- Identification and development of Key Talent to build internal succession and fill upcoming vacancies
- Coordinate and facilitate all state based Management Training modules in line with seasonal calendar and budget (interstate travel may be required)
- Develop and maintain an external and internal Talent Pool of potential talent to fill upcoming vacancies to improve time to fill results
- Manage other talent related activities including Exit Interviews, Probationary Review process, Performance Reviews and other Talent related retail projects as required
- Maintain strong communication with all Regional Teams and National Managers to ensure strong business performance and reduced labour turn over.
**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have experience in high volume Recruitment/Talent Acquisition in a fast-paced environment. Retail experience is not mandatory but would be highly regarded.
