**About the role**

Health Hub is seeking an experienced Medical Practice Manager to join their team in Mudgeeraba, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of healthcare services to patients.

**What you'll be doing**
- Manage the administrative and financial aspects of the medical practice, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation
- Working Reception, answering phones, booking patients, taking payments, faxing and scanning.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments, ensuring optimal patient flow and satisfaction
- Liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders to address any concerns or issues
- Implement and maintain effective policies, procedures, and systems to support the practice's operations
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards
- Lead and motivate the administrative team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to improve practice efficiency and patient outcomes
- Working towards Accreditation - Due 2027.

**What we're looking for**
- Experience in a medical practice management or healthcare administration role
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations, policies, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing administrative team
- Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and data analysis to drive practice efficiency and profitability
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field are desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekends only
