The role
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Artificial Intelligence, the Agentic AI Engineer role is a newly created and critical position within the team. As we continue to explore and leverage artificial intelligence to transform the life insurance landscape, the Agentic AI Engineer will collaborate with a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and SMEs to drive business value across the organization. You will design and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient AI solutions, with a focus on enterprise-grade agentic systems powered by AWS Bedrock, and oversee the operational management of AI business solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable agentic AI solutions leveraging AWS Bedrock.
Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and subject matter experts to translate business needs into AI-enabled products.
Ensure security, reliability, and efficiency in deployed AI systems and monitor operational performance.
Lead end-to-end project delivery from ideation and rapid prototyping through deployment and ongoing operations.
Qualifications
3–5+ years building generative AI systems (LLMs, diffusion models, GANs, etc.).
At least 12 months of commercial, production-grade experience delivering end-to-end agentic AI solutions on AWS Bedrock—from ideation to deployment and operations.
Hands-on technical leadership with deep SME knowledge and production-grade Python skills.
Strong experience with Amazon SageMaker (model training, deployment pipelines, monitoring, cost optimization).
Ability to design, build, and ship AI-driven products at scale with rapid prototyping capabilities.
Strong commercial acumen to work with business stakeholders and provide appropriate AI solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
