About the Role

Are you passionate about turning AI potential into practical business outcomes?  A hands-on, business-savvy AI Engineer/Consultant is required to help bring AI to life across this organisation.This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how AI is understood, adopted, and embedded across one of Australia's most innovative companies. This role blends technical engineering, internal consulting, and enablement, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, build agentic solutions, and drive impactful AI adoption at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as the first point of contact for departments like HR, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Ops exploring AI.
  • Lead AI consultations to define needs, clarify use cases, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Define and manage agentic workflows to handle triage requests effectively.
  • Build and maintain a backlog of opportunities, prioritising and grouping themes as needed.
  • Guide stakeholders through the AI adoption journey with empathy and structure.

Engineering AI Solutions

  • Build and deploy AI agents tailored to business needs.
  • Develop agentic workflows integrated with internal platforms and systems.
  • Support AI product development use cases from consults and workshops.

Enablement & Education

  • Deliver engaging workshops and coaching sessions to uplift AI literacy.
  • Create fun, gamified learning formats to make AI approachable and sticky.
  • Anticipate future learning needs and scale enablement proactively.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams to align on tools, platforms, and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with AI Champions across the business to share knowledge and build culture.

Driving Impact

  • Develop meaningful AI adoption metrics and success indicators.
  • Identify blockers and surface feedback to improve AI tools and processes.
  • Help build case studies and share outcomes that demonstrate tangible business impact.
