OverviewMosman Council is a lower north shore council offering diverse and rewarding work.
This is a part-time permanent opportunity, 24 hours per week, with salary from $38,843 to $48,455 per annum plus superannuation, plus travel support.The role of Food Services Assistant involves assisting with the efficient operations of Mosman Meals, including packing and distributing individually packaged meals for delivery to clients.
The position supports kitchen hygiene and food safety standards in line with current guidelines and regulations, and assists Mosman Meals kitchen volunteers and the Food Services Coordinator with office duties such as answering phone enquiries, taking referrals, and keeping records up to date.Work is scheduled as 24 hours per week: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30am to 1:00pm; Thursdays from 8:30am to 1:30pm; and Fridays from 8:30am to 2:00pm.ResponsibilitiesAssist with efficient operations of Mosman Meals, including packing and distribution of meals for delivery to clients.Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with current guidelines and regulations.Support Mosman Meals kitchen volunteers and assist the Food Services Coordinator with office duties (phone enquiries, referrals, records).
