Food Service Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Assistant to join our team at Hillside Aged Care. The ideal candidate will have sound food preparation experience and be able to provide exceptional food services to our residents.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Meal Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals for residents, ensuring high-quality dishes are served on time.
  • Dishwashing and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by washing dishes, clearing dining rooms and residents' rooms, and reporting any issues with food quality or quantity.
Requirements:
  • Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate: Possession of this certificate is highly desirable.
  • Aged Care or Hotel Experience: Relevant experience in housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry is an advantage.
  • Excellent Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards.
  • COVID Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
