**What you'll be doing**:
The Anko Global team is a newly created team that manages the distribution of Anko product outside Australia and New Zealand and is directly supported by design, merchandise, sourcing and supply chain teams in Australia, India and China. You will be joining a team of passionate collaborators with an entrepreneurial mindset that are determined to drive rapid growth for the Anko Global business. This team are passionate about Anko products and partner strongly with the retailers they wholesale to.

This role works directly with international teams to determine both new and existing opportunities and actively design and build an assortment within toys to meet the needs of our global customers

We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual who has a real eye for opportunity You love designing product, customers are always front of mind and building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders is one of your strengths. This is a new and exciting role for the team so we're looking for someone who has a true "design innovation mentality" along with strong commercial acumen.

As our new Designer in Toys, you will be instrumental in identifying, interpreting and implementing global toy trends to grow sales whilst continuing to bring meaningful moments into our customers lives. This role is pivotal in having a direct impact on the success of new product launches and sales growth in this category.

Some of the key responsibilities are (but not limited to):

- Trend forecasting & identifying new product opportunities in wooden toys market.
- Product design & Development in wooden toys & 3D toy products
- To work on product design direction and new product development
- Constantly strive to improve product design and innovation
- Building relationship & influence key stakeholders

**To be successful in this role**:
We are seeking a creative and driven Designer who has experience in or specialises in wooden Toys. You love delivering product, customers are always front of mind and building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders is one of your strengths.

We'd also love you to have:

- Strong ability to forecast and implement on-trend product ranges that have a commercial and broad appeal
- Good understanding of commercial range architecture
- Excellent ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders
- High proficiency in Illustrator, Solid Works or 3D capabilities programmes and Photoshop and technical skills related to the area of product development including construction knowledge
- Ability to create accurate technical specification drawings -Intermediate to advanced use of software such a Rhino, 3D Studio Max, Solid works (Industrial Designer only).
- Solid knowledge of factory capabilities and limitations for mass production
- Experience in product development in conjunction with factories
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional written and verb
