**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This is an outstanding, career opportunity to join a market leader as a National BDM. Reporting directly to the Group head of Sales, you will have group operations and bid support to secure new multimillion dollar contracts, nationally. You will play a key role in positioning the organisation for significant growth through national specialisation and in doing so, have significant career and leadership opportunities.

**THE ROLE** - You will:

- Be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Validate and pursue internal and external leads
- Build and nurture target client and industry networks and relationships
- Work with new clients to explore groups services and trials
- Lead the development of formal tendering of national contracts, supported by both group operations and bid management
- Build deep, partner-centric relationships with new clients, the industry and internal stakeholders
- Report directly to the Group Head of Sales
- Actively contribute to board presentations and strategic sales planning for the business
- Comply with WHS policies and regulatory requirements

**YOUR BACKGROUND** - You will have:

- A successful sales background in security or other labour hire services
- Demonstrated experience in securing new business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in forging respectful and commercial, customer, executive and industry, relationships
- Capabilities in identifying and securing growth opportunities
- A strategic and commercial lens for services business
