**Customer Service & Internal Sales Officer**

**Purpose of the role**:
The Customer Service & Internal Sales Officer focuses on ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with the National Sales Team, handle Internal Sales Leads, and uphold brand images. This role will nurture customer relationships, order processing, query resolutions, and promoting products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Being the primary point of contact for the organisation's national sales and distribution networks
- Manage an existing portfolio of customers driving sales and initiatives via regular phone interaction
- Providing exceptional customer service to all customers & building new customer relationships.
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Resolving customer complaints with a high level of professionalism and understanding.
- Increasing customer sales by recommending new products suitable to their business.
- Keeping customers up to date with the latest products/prices and promotions.
- Receiving and processing customer sales orders and managing return requests.
- Cross selling products & services to new & existing customers and proactively engage new customer opportunities
- Assist with the management of customers' consignment and delivery information
- Assist National Sales Team with various aspects of their roles including pricing, customer information, inventory availability, and periodic reporting
- Having extensive knowledge of all brands and products and the order of priority to our company.
- Help the sales team when required.
- Contacting customers on your call list to establish a relationship.
- General administrative duties.

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years' experience working within Customer Service and/or Sales role within a similar FMCG environment.
- Conflict Resolution experience and training.
- Exposure to the Pronto ERP system will be an advantage.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and PPT).
- Strong understanding and appreciation of ERP Systems and Processes.
- A strong passion for food & the food industry.
- Continuous Improvement foundation tools and training.
