Job Summary
The Field Installer Repairer is crucial for delivering end-to-end installation of Telstra's telecommunications networks.
This role involves installing and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure to ensure optimal service delivery.
About the role
As a Field Service Technician, you will operate independently to activate and verify telecommunications and technology products and services at customer premises, providing excellent customer experience.
You will work within a diverse team to achieve customer and business outcomes, with positions available across various locations.
Candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to the targeted area.

Key Responsibilities
Perform seamless service rectification and product installations to customer satisfaction.
Maintain and install copper cables, including fault finding, jointing, and networking.
Manage fibre and core network technologies and data services.
Maintain and install Customer Premises Equipment for both consumer and business clients.
Diagnose faults over copper networks, especially in rural or remote areas.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold relevant licenses and qualifications, including:
Certificate I & II in Telecommunications
Open cabling license
Traffic management qualifications
Industry white card
Training for traffic management and white card certificates is available.
Vaccination against Covid-19 is required for this role, with accommodations discussed on an individual basis.
