**ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE**

GP West have been serving the medical needs of the local community throughout Perth metropolitan area with 14 Medical Centres operating. GP West employ over 130 medical and non-medical staffs who help to deliver the needs of the community in an efficient way. All medical centres are AGPAL accredited for quality in health care.

**The Role**:
An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a Assistant Manager across some of our diverse and busy medical centres

The Assistant Manager role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors and allied health providers.

The successful applicants would be appointed as a part time employee working a minimum of 20 to 25 hours per week with cover as required for sick leave and annual leave.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Managing reception staff
- Greeting patients.
- Handling a variety of patients phone call enquiries.
- Handling a busy switch board.
- Booking appointments and entering patient data.
- Generating invoices and receiving payments.
- Processing Medicare Claims.
- Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send.
- Maintaining doctors bookings and schedules.
- Being responsive to other team member requests.
- Taking all doctors requests in a timely manner.
- Other adhoc administration as required.

**Requirements**:
**Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role within the medical field.**
- Be able to work in a team.
- Best Practice Software experience beneficial.
- Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional phone manner.
- Be able to multitask and prioritises all times.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
