An exciting opportunity, based in Sydney, is available for a State People Lead to be part of our Primary Connect business. This is a unique opportunity to impact our business performance through your exceptional partnering ability and talent in identifying opportunities to enhance organisational effectiveness. Your expertise in leading a People Team, who partner with the business across multiple Distribution Centres in Western Sydney and Central Coast, you will have a proven track record of developing strong partnerships with site and state leadership teams to ensure all business strategies and initiatives are being met.

**About the Opportunity**
Partnering with business leaders including NSW State Manager, your expertise will be to drive outcomes through strong relationships and to focus on building and implementing appropriate people strategies in alignment with business plans.
Your responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Driving Team advocacy with a whole system approach, focusing on continuous improvement, innovation and partnering for success
- Leading a team of five experienced HR Business Partners
- Leading the people stream partnering with the State Operations teams and developing strategies and plans to support the delivery of our operations strategy from a people perspective for the short and long term business outcomes
- Researching and analysing people-related data to provide insights, identifying opportunities and offering recommendations that will enhance organisational effectiveness and workforce engagement
- Providing leadership coaching to front line managers and senior leaders, and helping to create a diverse and inclusive culture that aligns to the Woolworths Purpose, Values and Ways of Working
- Ensuring that the team has everything they need in the delivery of value through participation and membership within the Agile for Delivery approach

You will possess strong industrial relations (IR) expertise as well as the ability to think and plan for the long term, and the capability to diagnose issues and use data/insights to influence successful outcomes.
Leading organisations through large scale change and transformation are big projects that you are excited about and want to be involved in To be able to do so, you have a strategic and creative mindset coupled with strong commercial acumen and experience in demonstrating successful business impacts.
Influencing and managing key stakeholders has no secret for you You will have excellent communication skills and you will have the ability to partner and influence in a highly unionised and industrial environment. You are a true leader with proven expertise in managing a team of senior HR professionals as well as experience in coaching and mentoring your team members.
