**The opportunity**:
As a Maintenance Tradesman you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair work on various facilities, as well as equipment, resources and infrastructure, during business hours with after hours and weekends if required.

To work independently (or as a team member if required) to provide reactive and programmed maintenance to Explorers Early Learning Centres.

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tradesperson to join our team on a casual basis.

You will be required to carry out a variety of maintenance repairs, painting and gardening tasks. Hours could be outside of regular working hours across Monday to Friday including weekends and after hours.

**You will have**:

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance or tradesman role.
- Construction Industry White Card is essential for safety compliance.
- Safety certifications such as OSHA 10 or 30 are a plus.
- Trade certificate (preferred but not essential).
- Working with children check (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred, but not required.
- Driver Licence
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on resolving maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive attitude with a drive to improve and contribute to a positive work culture.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form meaningful and trusting relationships with team members and management.
