ABOUT THE ROLE:
An opportunity to join a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team providing recovery focused care to consumers experiencing mental illness. The chance to be a part of the welcoming, friendly and highly skilled team at the Wyndham Clinic, Hoppers Crossing. We are passionate about providing an accessible high-quality service to the rapid growing, diverse community we serve.
- Full Time - Permanent role
- 5 days per week - 08.30 - 17.00hrs
- Some opportunities to do extended hours shifts on Tuesdays and Saturdays and alternating Thursdays.
- Providing Case Management support to clients aged 16-65yrs
- Providing quality mental health and discipline specific, client centred assessment and treatment that is evidence based.
- Works within a multidisciplinary team and lived experience workforce

ABOUT YOU:

- Qualifications as RPN3, OT 2, SW 2, or P 2.
- A current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse; Occupational Therapist; Psychologist and eligible for Social Work Membership Endorsement
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- The ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
- Knowledge in different therapeutic techniques
- Knowledge about different referral pathways for clients requiring short and long term support
- Be consumer recovery focused care with consumers, inclusive of carers / families.
- A good working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014 and relevant legislation

Mercy Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in southwest metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
