About the opportunity
An opportunity to join a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team providing recovery focused care to consumers experiencing mental illness. The chance to be a part of the welcoming, friendly and highly skilled team at the Wyndham Clinic, Hoppers Crossing. We are passionate about providing an accessible high-quality service to the rapid growing, diverse community we serve.

  • Full time position available
  • 5 days per week hrs
  • Some opportunities to do extended hours shifts on Tuesdays and Saturdays and alternating Thursdays
  • Providing Case Management support to clients aged 16-65yrs
  • Providing quality mental health and discipline specific, client centered assessment and treatment that is evidence based
  • Works within a multidisciplinary team and lived experience workforce

ABOUT YOU:

  • Qualifications as RPN3, OT 2, SW 2, or P 2
  • A current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse; Occupational Therapist; Psychologist and eligible for Social Work Membership Endorsement
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • The ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
  • Knowledge in different therapeutic techniques
  • Knowledge about different referral pathways for clients requiring short- and long-term support
  • Be consumer recovery focused care with consumers, inclusive of carers / families
  • A good working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 and relevant legislation

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
