This role is primarily based out of our Burpengary office.This is your chance to step into a role with a respected contractor specialising in water infrastructure, with the chance for significant long term work.We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to lead the delivery of several large reservoir infrastructure projects on the Gold Coast from the ground up.If you have a background in structural steel, capital construction projects, and thrive in a site-based role where quality, safety, and purpose matter — we want to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingAs Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the delivery of this significant capital project, responsible for:Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, team members and subcontractors to execute projects.Be able to simultaneously manage project finances, risk, quality and reporting.Leading all aspects of project execution – from planning through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Overseeing the reservoir rehabilitation works, ensuring full compliance with relevant Australian Standards (e.g., AS/NZS 5131, AS 1562.1, AS 4100).
Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews, fostering a collaborative and productive site environment.Maintaining the highest levels of safety and environmental compliance.Working within potable water environments, with additional compliance to HACCP and ISO 22000 standards – critical to the communities we serve.Interfacing with stakeholders including engineers, regulators, and client representatives to ensure clear communication and transparent progress updates.What We're Looking ForA degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Required Qualities7+ years in project management experience.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Demonstrable experience in all 5 project life cycle aspects (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closure).
