**About the role**:
Maas Civil, a business unit of MGH, are currently seeking an experienced **_Procurement Officer_** to join their already highly successful, results driven team.

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for completion of material takeoffs, finding and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, preparing purchase orders/supply agreements and acquiring the most cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality.

This role can be based in Dubbo, Regional NSW, Newcastle NSW or Sydney NSW.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Demonstrated experience in a procurement role, preferably in the civil construction industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to uphold supply planning routines, processes and procedures
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality and continuous improvement driven.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid knowledge of supplier or third party management software.
