Sooki Lounge is currently looking for an assistant venue manager to join the team becoming a part of a special culture that is committed to executing exceptional experiences. The Assistant Venue Manager is the first line supervisory management role and is thus responsible for executing all service standards for front of the house.

The Assistant Venue Manager manages the front of the house team and is responsible for smooth running of the operations. The position should be passionate about offering exceptional hospitality to guests and upholding highest standards at the venue.

Experience & Skills:

- Previous experience in venue / restaurant management or supervisor position in a high-volume venue.
- Exemplary service skills
- Sophisticated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
- Passionate about people, hospitality and experiences
- Strong organisation skills with the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated innovative approach to identify development opportunities
- Excellent team player with a high level of motivation and drive
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, opening & closing shifts

About Sooki Lounge:
Sooki Lounge is an eclectic baroque inspired multi purpose venue, including a restaurant, cocktail bar and live music venue. With a tree lined beer garden, both vibrant and tranquil stand alone dining settings and several chic functions rooms to cater for any purpose.

The restaurant caters for a modern Mexican/Australian inspired menu, the bar has a heavy emphasis on local and international craft beers and spirits with nine taps operating and well renowned signature cocktail menu.

The venue has a diverse and wide ranging events calendar, ranging from folk, rock, punk, comedy, alternative electronica and more, showcasing many preeminent Australian and international artists.
