Our client has over the 15 years experience and developed into a mature Telecommunications Construction specialist in delivering infrastructure design, construction, integration and maintenance services.

We are seeking and experienced Fibre Splicer to join a. This role requires a competent, experienced Fibre Splicer & Fault Finder on Network. You will have a firm understanding of the Telstra Fibre Network (Topology) or similar optical networks. There will also be a requirement as part of your technician role to become competent with all FAD installation.

**Experience**:

- Working within the Telstra CAN, and IEN Networks
- Telstra Wideband experience
- Wideband TRPB / TEQP
- Telstra hot cutovers/relocations/router installs.
- Experience with Telstra OJs and In Line UCNs
- Working on live carrier Fibre networks
- Terminating large core counts into FTP's and joint enclosures
- Working in existing Live FTP's and joints
- Preparation of optical fibre cable and various enclosures (Raychem/Tyco, W&B, Corning) for termination.
- Fault location and rectification skills
- OTDR / IL and Fibre splicing accreditation.
- Experience completing Telstra Wideband Workbooks
- Rod Roping / Hauling experience desired.
- Ability to create & maintain working spreadsheets.
