Savanna has won long-term contracts for our top performing drilling rigs. We are looking to grow our experienced Drilling crews and needs experienced **loader operators** to work with our talented crews working in Queensland. If you are innovative, like to work with the best teams, and want to earn over $100,000 per year we want to hear from you.
With 2:2 FIFO/DIDO rosters we offer the opportunity to have a career while being family friendly. You'll be working with talented, professional crews working with the latest technologies.
**What will you be doing?**
The Loader Operator is responsible for operating the loader on site for the Rigs. This position will also assist with day-to-day basic operations, maintenance and cleaning on the rig.
You'll be typically:
- Carrying out pre-start checks, operating/driving a Front-End Loader;
- Loading & unloading trucks;
- Setting out all necessary work signage as per a Traffic Control Plan;
- Undertaking routine services & minor repairs to the Loader; &
- Carrying out basic housekeeping on the Rig.
**What experience & skills must you possess?**
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Front-End Loader Ticket & Certificate of Competency;
- An understanding of servicing/maintaining a Front-End Loader; &
- A positive attitude towards safety, policies & procedures.
