About our client

Our clients waste processing, treatment and resource recovery facility is strategically located in the Queensland's Southern Downs, to service various waste streams originating predominantly from Coal Seam Gas production and related industries. They are looking for an experienced Loader/Excavator Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing

If successful, you will be required to work from 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Friday), processing organic waste into quality compost. You will work alongside the Operations Manager to run an efficient, safe and tidy site with core duties including (but not limited to);

  • Operation of various mobile plant including: Front End Loader, Water Truck and Excavator
  • Operation of pumps for onsite water transfer
  • Manning of docket office including receiving of trucks and computer based data entry through Microsoft Excel
  • Assist with maintenance and repair activities
  • General housekeeping and cleaning as required
  • Other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager

What you will need

  • Previous experience operating Front End Loader and Water Truck (min 2 years)
  • Previous experience operating Excavator (min 6 months)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Driver's Licence + reliable transport
  • Ability to pass a PEM + D&A
