Overview
We're looking for aQC Lab Technicianto join a leadingfood/specialty ingredients manufacturerand play a key role in ensuring product safety, quality and compliance.
Availability to commence ASAP is required.
Base pay range
A$65,000.00/yr - A$70,000.00/yr
What you'll be doing
Carrying out chemical and physical testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products
Coordinating external testing with third-party labs
Generating Certificates of Analysis, reports and accurate data entry
Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment
Supporting hygiene checks, GMP audits and solution preparation
What we're looking for
Degree qualified in Food Science, Applied Science or related discipline
Hands-on QC/analytical lab experience (food industry preferred)
Experience with GC equipment
Minimum12 months' experiencein a similar QC or analytical lab role (food industry preferred)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and reporting skills
Knowledge of OH&S, HACCP and GMP
IT savvy, with excellent time management and communication skills
