OverviewWe're looking for a QC Lab Technician to join a leading food/specialty ingredients manufacturer and play a key role in ensuring product safety, quality and compliance. Availability to commence ASAP is required.
Base pay rangeA$65,000.00/yr - A$70,000.00/yr
What you'll be doing- Carrying out chemical and physical testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products
- Coordinating external testing with third-party labs
- Generating Certificates of Analysis, reports and accurate data entry
- Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment
- Supporting hygiene checks, GMP audits and solution preparation
- Degree qualified in Food Science, Applied Science or related discipline
- Hands-on QC/analytical lab experience (food industry preferred)
- Experience with GC equipment
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar QC or analytical lab role (food industry preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and reporting skills
- Knowledge of OH&S, HACCP and GMP
- IT savvy, with excellent time management and communication skills
