About the Position
Reporting to the Manager Community Strengthening & Economic Development, the Coordinator Economy, Place & Connected Communities will lead and manage 3 teams to create stronger communities. This includes the Economic Development, Place Making & Activation & the Connected Communities Teams.
Skills and Experience
High level of knowledge of economic & community development and the functioning of government at all levels
Through understanding of the priorities of the organisation and local business economic development
High level analytical and investigative skills together with research and policy development skills
A sound knowledge of the function of local government and the political environment in which it operates
Excellent project management skills and customer service principles
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word processing, spreadsheet and database software packages
