Temporary Before & After School Nanny - 7 Weeks - South Coogee NSW

- Working hours: 6.30-9.30 am & 2.30-7.00 pm Split shift with some morning flexibility

A friendly and easy-going family of six based in South Coogee is seeking a temporary nanny to cover a 7-week period while their current nanny is on annual leave. The role runs from 16th June to 4th August 2025, with the option to start earlier for handover and training alongside the current nanny.

This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for a confident, experienced nanny comfortable managing a busy household with older school-aged children. The role primarily involves before and after school care, with driving to and from school and activities a key part of the daily routine.

The nanny will also assist with basic household duties to help the home run smoothly while both parents work full-time. The older children are largely independent but may occasionally require assistance or lifts. The younger two will need consistent support with routines and after-school schedules.

The family employs a weekly cleaner, so only light day-to-day tidying and maintenance are expected.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- School drop-offs, pick-ups, and after-school activity transport
- Morning assistance with breakfast, lunch preparation, and school routines
- Light meal preparation and end-of-day kitchen tidy-up
- Supervise homework and assist with next-day preparation
- Children's laundry and light household support
- Confident and experienced driver with a valid licence (own car preferred)
- Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills
- Calm, mature, and flexible approach when engaging with older children

- National Criminal Record Check
- Minimum 3+ years of nanny/childcare experience
- 2+ Australian-based child-related references
- Ability to start mid-June or earlier for handover
