Short-Term Nanny Wanted for Before and After School Care

A friendly and easy-going family of six is seeking a reliable temporary nanny to cover a 7-week period. The role involves providing before and after school care, with driving to and from school and activities a key part of the daily routine.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the household while both parents work full-time. This includes assisting with basic duties such as laundry, tidying, and meal preparation. The nanny will also supervise homework, assist with next-day preparation, and provide consistent support for the younger children.

The older children are largely independent but may occasionally require assistance or lifts. The family employs a weekly cleaner, so only light day-to-day tasks are expected.

Requirements
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • National Criminal Record Check
  • Minimum 3+ years of nanny/childcare experience
  • 2+ Australian-based child-related references
