**A little bit about the role**:
As the Endeavour Foundation continues to grow and support the community and workplace as a leading disability service provider, we have an exciting opportunity for an **Return to Work Advisor**
- Effectively managing statutory Workers' Compensation claims to maximise outcomes for both the injured worker and Endeavour.
- Providing operations with expert technical advice to support best practice occupational rehabilitation and recover at work outcomes
- Providing timely advice to the WHS Team Lead (Injury Management), on barriers or issues impacting return to work of an injured worker.
- Managing complex cases including case reviews and accurate maintenance of electronic case files showing proactive activity, recommendations, and clear case management plans.
- Developing relationships and engaging with external stakeholders including Workers Compensation Insurers, Regulators, Medical Practitioners, and allied health professionals.
- Developing understanding among line leaders of legislative obligations and the benefits of rehabilitating injured/ill workers.
- Preparing and providing analysis and interpretation of injury management health data.
- Actively engaging with Safety and Wellbeing Team to identify corrective and preventative actions and strategies
**What will you bring**:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in claims management with evidence of successful outcomes.
- Knowledge and understanding of Fitness for Work requirements, Ergonomics, Workers Compensation and Occupational Health Rehabilitation Services.
- Demonstrated experience of mentoring and coaching in successful recovering at work outcomes.
- Tertiary Allied Health qualifications or similar and/or extensive experience in workers' compensation claims management including complex claims
- A high level of experience and skills to communicate effectively using various communication forums.
- Demonstrated high-level research, analytical and investigation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver recommendations and actions relating to WorkCover statute and damages claims that meet the business objectives
