Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Return To Work (RTW) Coordinator. This is a challenging role that requires coordination and undertaking of functional assessments, analysis of medical reports, training staff in manual handling, and assessing client worksites.
About the Role:
- Coordinate and undertake functional assessments and analyse medical reports.
- Train staff and employees in manual handling.
- Assess the client worksite to determine the physical requirements of a job in the workplace.
- Interview injured workers for injury investigation and suitable duties determination.
- Coordinate WorkCover investigations.
- Maintain internal injury registers.
- Liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, and rehabilitation providers for injury rehabilitation and return to work (RTW).
- Identify suitable duties and implement a RTW program.
- Support administration related to RTW and monthly reporting.
- Contribute to Injury Management and RTW initiatives.
- Maintain functional assessment procedures and documentation.
Requirements:
- A qualification in Health Sciences & Allied Health (Degree / Masters / Honours) in one of the following fields:
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Exercise Physiology
- Exercise Science (Exercise Sports Science)
- Registered Nurse
- Hold an approved RTW Certificate.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Intermediate Microsoft Office capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- An effective problem solver.
- A proactive approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
