Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Trade Compliance Specialist with a global logistics provider.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customs clearance for high-value imports, ensuring timely and compliant processing across international borders.
Prepare and lodge accurate customs declarations in line with regulatory requirements.
Ensure all shipments are cleared with proper authority and in accordance with client instructions.
Monitor and apply updates to customs laws, tariffs, and trade agreements to maintain compliance and support clients.
Liaise with customs, clients, and internal teams to provide expert advice and resolve customs-related queries.
Requirements:
Must hold a current customs broker license.
Minimum 1 year of experience in customs clearance and entry writing.
Strong understanding of customs regulations, international trade, and shipping logistics.
Proficient in customs clearance software and Microsoft Office.
Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and general computer use.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
