Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations with a production profile above 10 years.
Role Details
Reporting to the Senior Geology Assistant, the main responsibility is to provide quality geology technical services and collaborate with the broader mining team to maximise operation performance.
This role is offered on a family-friendly 8 days on, 6 days off roster and is FIFO from Perth or DIDO from the Goldfields region.

Your New Role
Interact daily with the Geology team to arrange daily work activities and ensure they are fully planned and coordinated
Assist with production activities such as ore mark-ups, ore spotting, and collecting in-pit samples
RC drilling activities including sampling and rock chip collection
Diamond drill core processing, cutting and sampling activities
Collaborate with project geologists and drillers to address drilling or core-related issues
Ensure sample handling and data recording meet QAQC standards
Complete all tasks associated with daily and weekly sample dispatch services to the assay laboratory
Maintain clean, tidy and hazards-free work areas
About You
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Current Western Australian driver's licence
Forklift certificate desirable

Basic level of Microsoft Office Applications
