Job Title: Geology Assistant

Role Overview

In response to an expansion in drilling operations, we are seeking a skilled Geology Assistant to join our team at the Gruyere gold deposit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality geology technical services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational outcomes
  • Coordinate daily work activities with the Geology team
  • Support production activities such as ore mark-ups and sampling
  • Participate in Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling activities including sampling and rock chip collection
  • Manage diamond drill core processing, cutting, and sampling
  • Collaborate with project geologists and drillers to resolve drilling or core-related issues
  • Maintain QAQC standards in sample handling and data recording
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Western Australian driver's license required
  • Forklift certificate desirable
  • Apply First Aid certificate desirable
