Job Title: Geology Assistant

This role involves providing technical support to the senior geology assistant and collaborating with the geology team to ensure that daily work activities are planned and coordinated.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting RC drilling activities, including sampling and rock chip collection, and assisting with production activities such as ore mark-ups, ore spotting, and collecting in-pit samples.

Additionally, this role requires maintaining clean, tidy and hazards-free work areas and ensuring that sample handling and data recording meet QAQC standards.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

You will also need to possess a current Western Australian driver's licence and basic level of Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide technical support to the senior geology assistant
    • Conduct RC drilling activities including sampling and rock chip collection
    • Assist with production activities such as ore mark-ups, ore spotting, and collecting in-pit samples

  • Requirements:
    • Previous experience in a similar role
