As we prepare for an increase in drilling activity, we're expanding our team at Gruyere. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new phase at the world-class Gruyere gold deposit. We're seeking passionate, skilled professionals to contribute to this high-impact project and support its success.

Gruyere Gold Mine, a joint venture between Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources (50/50), is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. Commissioned in 2019, it is one of Australia's largest and most cost-effective gold mining operations, producing over 300,000 ounces annually with a production profile exceeding 10 years.

Reporting to the Senior Geology Assistant, your main responsibility will be to provide quality geology technical services and collaborate with the broader mining team to maximize operational returns.

This role offers a family-friendly 8 days on, 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from the Goldfields region.

• Coordinate daily work activities with the Geology team to ensure thorough planning
• Assist with production activities such as ore mark-ups, ore spotting, and sampling
• Participate in RC drilling activities including sampling and rock chip collection
• Handle diamond drill core processing, cutting, and sampling
• Collaborate with project geologists and drillers to resolve drilling or core-related issues
• Maintain QAQC standards in sample handling and data recording
• Manage daily and weekly sample dispatches to the assay laboratory
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Western Australian driver's license
• Forklift certificate (desirable)
• Apply First Aid certificate (desirable)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
