**How will I help?**

We have an exciting opportunity available for enthusiastic individuals seeking a Manager Business Controls & Monitoring (BCM) role reporting to the Executive Manager of Governance and Reporting.

As a Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Governance and Reporting team within the Cash & Transactional Banking Line (CTB) of Business (LoB). This role provides the business and the CTB LT with risk support for all elements of the operational risk management framework, including risk reporting, monitoring compliance with risk frameworks and analysis of risk data to provide insights to the business. You will be engaging with multiple stakeholders across a number of teams at any given time, including the Line 1, Line 2 and the Central Hub teams.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are outlined below:

- As part of a team of risk professionals contribute to ensuring the business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group, including issue and incident management.
- Contribute and support the business to drive a strong risk culture and awareness in day-to-day business decisions and business strategic initiatives.
- Provide support with CTB risk governance, including coordinating and preparing risk papers to the CTB Risk Committee.
- Contribute to the preparation of Divisional Risk Committee papers.
- Analyse risk data to input into reports, including the analysis of incidents to identify systemic issues and analysis of risk data to highlight any control gaps or actionable insights.
- Preparation, monitoring and reporting of metrics across the LOB, including the Risk Appetite Dashboard and Key Risk Indicators.
- Drive efficiency and automation of data and reporting.
- Support with data collection for risk Assessments, including Risk Management Framework Maturity and the Risk Culture self-assessments.
- Support the team with the delivery of the CORE program.

**What do I need?**
- Knowledge and/or experience of operational or compliance risk frameworks
- Experience in reporting, governance or business management
- Data visualisation experience (for example Tableau)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think critically and analytically
