Job Title:
Business Support Professional
The role of the Business Support Professional is to provide high-level administrative support and knowledge to directors, department leaders, and other stakeholders. This includes developing and monitoring budgets, reporting requirements, and providing expertise in executive functions.
About You:
You have the ability to manage stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
You are flexible and proactive with a strong interpersonal and written communication style.
You possess operational, financial, and administrative experience within a medium office environment.
You have the ability to work independently on routine matters within established procedures and guidelines.
You have advanced word processing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
You can exercise discretion, tact, and maintain strict confidentiality in all matters at an executive level.
About the Faculty/Group:
The Future Students and Engagement Department oversees all external-facing functions with a comprehensive strategy. This includes marketing, advancement, alumni office, social media, corporate communications, and events.
The team effectively showcases UNE's offerings, builds relationships with key stakeholders, and fosters a strong connected community.

Ability to enjoy managing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
A flexible and proactive attitude towards work, with the capacity to embrace change in response to new initiatives, strategic directions, or external requirements.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and contribute to a cohesive team.
Operational, financial and administrative experience within a medium office environment, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine matters within established procedures and guidelines, ensuring tasks are completed within set deadlines.
Demonstrated advanced word processing skills, along with proficiency in other relevant software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Zoom.
Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, tact, and maintain strict confidentiality in all matters at an executive level.
Completion of a Diploma-level qualification; or a Certificate IV with relevant work experience; or a post-trades certificate with extensive relevant experience and on-the-job training; or a Certificate III with extensive relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
