Operations ControllerLocation: LauncestonJoin Kinetic and play a pivotal role in ensuring our services run smoothly and efficiently.
As an Operations Controller, you'll be at the heart of daily bus operations-coordinating drivers, vehicles, and resources to keep our communities moving.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where every day is different.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate bus and driver movements for scheduled services, maintenance, fuelling, and operational needsManage crew and vehicle changeovers, responding quickly to breakdowns, delays, and staffing changesSupport frontline driving staff during both routine and emergency situationsMonitor compliance with National Fatigue guidelines, regulations, and Enterprise AgreementsMaintain accurate operational records for incidents, service disruptions, and performance analysisAssist with charter allocations, quoting, and coordination with the Sales Support teamEngage with drivers and staff to foster a high-performance, safety-focused cultureAbout YouMinimum 2 years' experience in operations coordination, ideally with supervisory exposureCurrent C class driver's licence (MR licence preferred or willingness to obtain)Valid State Driving Authority and Working with Children CheckFirst Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and support teams in high-pressure situationsProactive problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvementWhy Kinetic?
