About the Job
We're seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily warehouse operations, including dispatch, receipting, stock rotation, and HACCP compliance. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to drive cultural change.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large teams in a fast-paced operations or warehouse environment, with excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple functions and shift patterns.
- Lead and support three direct supervisors and their wider teams across transport, picking, and stock control.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and safe working practices.
- Drive cultural change through coaching, clear communication, and consistent leadership.
- Coordinate stock movement, storage, and system receipting in partnership with the Stock Controller.
- Monitor and schedule vehicle and building maintenance.
- Manage site rostering, overtime tracking, and support payroll reporting.
- Promote and maintain a safe, compliant, and audit-ready environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
