The Star Brisbane is looking for a Chief Concierge to join the team.The Star Brisbane is Australia's newest entertainment hub at the heart of the Queen's Wharf Brisbane precinct.
The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences coming soon.
The complex offers new dining, bars, entertainment options, a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.As Chief Concierge, you will lead the Concierge and Bell Desk operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure.
You will play a key role in maintaining service excellence and operational efficiency across the Concierge Desk, Bell Desk, and Porte Cochere.Responsibilities include:Overseeing daily operations of the Concierge Desk, Bell Desk, and Porte Cochere.Leading and inspiring a team of 30–40 members, ensuring they provide accurate and engaging information on property facilities, local attractions, transportation, and events.Collaborating with Limousine Company, Butlers, VIP Services, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams to deliver a high-standard arrival and departure experience.Developing and implementing service standards, best practices, and procedures to enhance guest experience.Maintaining accurate administrative records and reports.Qualifications and experience:Previous experience as an Assistant or Chief Concierge in a luxury or five-star property is highly desirable.Diploma in Hospitality or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.Strong leadership and teamwork skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.In-depth knowledge of Brisbane CBD and surrounding areas, including attractions, dining, and events.About you:If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, world-class environment, we want to hear from you.What we offer:Complimentary on-site meals daily, including hot meals and sandwich bar.Discounted parking in the city.Up to 30% discounts at award-winning restaurants and accommodations.Career development, training, and courses via The Star Academy.An inclusive organization valuing diversity, teamwork, and personal growth.Health and wellbeing services.Focus on diversity & inclusion, including Multicultural, Gender, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander, and LGBTQI+ initiatives.Paid training and ongoing career development.Please note that eligibility checks are part of the recruitment and employment process.Our culture:We are committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace that enhances guest experiences, provides a great environment for our team, and benefits our communities.
