We have an exciting opportunity for driven and enthusiastic hospitality events professional to join an industry leader in an iconic Sydney venue - Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel.
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Grounded on the sandy shoreline of one of Sydney's most iconic harbour beaches, Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel sings out to those in search of endless Summers, and postcard panoramic views. With a waterside Beach Club, four bars, a number of casual dining areas and three wedding & event spaces, we host some of Sydney's most memorable parties.
We are looking for a Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our team who has a passion to inspire and create memorable experiences for our clients. Predominately wedding focused this role will also cross into corporate and social event management.

As a Wedding and Events Coordinator at The Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating events from post-sale right through to the actual event
- Possess exceptional customer service with an impeccable eye for detail
- Timely and accurate distribution of all event related information to internal and external parties
- Have excellent communication with clients to build repeat business
- Building and maintaining relationships: executes a consistent level of high-quality service to customers and responds in a timely manner to enquiries
- Working closely, and in conjunction with, the Event Operations Manager, General Manager, and Event Coordinator to ensure that all aspects of events have been cost effective, established, and serve both the client and business' needs
- Deliver feedback to team of innovative ideas and promote the venues across the group to the event and wedding market
**WHO ARE YOU**
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, prior experience in wedding, corporate or social coordination is considered an advantage
- Exceptional drive and determination to deliver a memorable client experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and with clarity to both internal and external stakeholders
- A natural problem solver, ability to offer creative and elegant solutions
- Able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A genuinely warm and welcoming demeanour
- Motivated and detail oriented
- Passion for the industry
- Available to work at least one weekend day per week - up to both weekend days during peak periods

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The Laundy Group have an exciting opportunity for a Wedding Sales Executive to sell wedding packages across our venues, predominately focusing on Watson's Bay Boutique Hotel.

As a Wedding Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Identify and articulate couples' needs and suggest appropriate venue to suit the wedding needs
- Develop strong working relationships with new and existing couples, to help them in their wedding planning journey
- Create accurate proposals to suit the client requirements
- Coordinate and host site inspections during the working week and Saturday mornings, including follow ups with prospective clients
- Meet monthly sales targets
- Building and maintaining relationships: executes a consistent level of high-quality service to customers and responds in a timely manner to enquiries
- Maintaining up to date information of accounts, sales activity, and revenue before and after events.
- Working closely, and in conjunction with the General Manager and Event Coordinator to ensure that all aspects of events have been cost effective, established, and serve both the client and business' needs
- Manage our internal Wedding Open Days and Annual Showcase Events
