Wedding and Event Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Wedding and Event Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of weddings and events, from setup to breakdown.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of weddings and events, including coordinating with clients, vendors, and staff members.
  • Lead the events team, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities, and conduct pre-event meetings and rehearsals to ensure everyone is aligned on the event plan.
  • Coordinate vendor management, including managing contracts, schedules, and payments.
  • Address any issues or concerns that arise during events promptly and professionally, finding effective solutions to ensure a smooth and memorable experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Wedding and Event Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of event planning processes, including vendor management, event logistics, and floorplan design.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
