**Your Role**:
Working with the Regional and Global Facilities team you will oversee and lead all real estate, facilities management, operations procurement and purchasing services for Chubb Australia and New Zealand. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of these premises and procurement processes in support of the Chubb Australia and NZ businesses.
**Your Responsibilities**:
Lead the local execution of the Chubb Australia and New Zealand real estate and facilities strategy in consultation with senior management and the Regional and Global Real Estate teams and framework.
Advise and inform management on key market trends, opportunities and risks as it may relate to the real estate strategy, space utilization and cost outcomes.
Lead all operational activities relating to Facilities and Operations Procurement functions across Chubb Australia and NZ
Review and implement effective Operations Procurement policies, procedures and controls to ensure the appropriate cost and risk outcomes are delivered.
Manage all vendor selection and appointment processes to ensure compliance with company standards and best market practice.
Streamline and enhance purchasing and cost monitoring and performance processes for key spend categories and advise management on opportunities and trends.
Oversee the compliance and alignment of the companies procurement and third party provider policies in terms of sourcing and managing vendors and purchasing.
Set and agree an appropriate set of key performance indications for the operation of the companies real estate facilities and manage actual performance to these standards.
In conjunction with the Regional and Global Real Estate teams, provide local management for company real estate leasing processes including negotiation, renewals and terminations.
Facilitate and monitor the maintenance of general office facilities including office equipment, office furniture to ensure all facilities are in good working order.
Lead and ensure compliance of the company's Records Retention Policy and Offsite Records Policy across all offices nationwide.
Coordinating efforts and work closely with other departments on the onboarding requirements under administration department for new hires such as preparing workstation, stationeries, etc.
Analyse and investigate faults / complaints / hazards on the building facilities.
Work with HR and global security to ensure all work health and safety and security requirements are met
**Qualifications**:
**Your Skills & Experience**:
At least 5 years hands on working experience in Facilities and Procurement roles.
Senior Office Manager experience preferably with office refurbishments and managing and negotiating supplier tenders and contracts end to end
Ability to lead and drive real estate negotiations and transactions
Demonstrated experience managing invoicing, financial budgets and targets
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to lead, train and develop front of house staff
Effective time management
Diploma/ tertiary qualifications in Management/ Business Studies/Administration or equivalent desirable
