
Manager Student Safety

As the Manager Student Safety & Reviews, your key accountabilities include:
- Oversee and manage Chisholm's student safety framework and process, including safer communities and Child Safety practices.
- Manage Chisholm's framework and practices for student health and medical management.
- Manage Chisholm's First Aid program and compliance with Codes and regulations.
- Act as key contact and manage our relationship with WorkSafe.
- Undertake iCam and related investigations for notifiable and significate safety events, developing action plans to address gaps in practice.
- Provide reporting to Chisholm's Board, Audit & Risk Management Committee (ARMC), and Executive Leadership Group.
- Work closely with the Manager Safety Governance and Assurance, all members of the People, Culture & Safety team to champion and support the implementation of Chisholm's Safety Framework and values.
**ABOUT YOU**
Crucial to your success will be your proven track record in leadership and safety management. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders in a highly collegiate manner.
**Qualifications required for the role**:
- Relevant qualifications, experience and/or certifications in related business portfolio in health and safety, or a related discipline.
- Certified under the Australian Institute of Health & Safety, or willing to become certified.
