The Role:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our senior school team as a student coordinator. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to ensure the wellbeing and academic success of students.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with staff members, including student mentors, learning diversity coordinators, counsellors, health centre staff, boarding house coordinators, international student coordinators, indigenous program coordinators, deputy heads, and subject teachers.
- Provide guidance and support to mentor staff on student wellbeing issues.
- Lead and inform mentor and subject teachers on key matters.
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding communication with families.
- Organize student support meetings.
- Attend regular student wellbeing meetings with the deputy head/head of school to provide summaries of student issues.
This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated commitment to student learning and wellbeing, effective planning and organizational skills, and proven competence with technology in educational settings.
