Role Summary
- Ensure that the operation and administration of the maintenance management and inventory systems is maintained and stock levels reflect those within the system.
- Provide information and reports as requested. Raise opportunities for cost savings.
- Periodically review approved recommended spares requests, obtain quotes for supplies, raise purchased order requests and ensure orders are duplicated in both the CMMS and Ariba so that stock levels are maintained and are available when required
- Perform periodic reviews, data collection and security reviews as directed.
- Maintain and update PM task changes in accordance with Data integrity and approved change procedures.
- Maintain maintenance spare parts and inventory within Mainpac and provide support to Reliability Engineering
- Periodically reviewing spares parts requests, obtaining quotes, raising purchase order requests, maintaining PO orders in both the CMMS and Ariba purchasing so that stock levels are maintained.
- Conducting periodic stock takes of the engineering maintenance stores and creating a variance report
- Creation of job ready maintenance kits to reduce downtime of breakdowns and repairs
- Managing and maintaining safe work and storage practices within the Engineering stores
- Managing and transport incoming & outgoing chemical deliveries as required and guided by Engineering
- Obtaining multiple quotes from suppliers where possible.
- Maintain supplier data base in both CMMS and Ariba
- Facilitate data base changes as required.
- First contact point for PO discrepancies and payments.
- Maintenance of supplier relationships.
- Review and close out of open PO at scheduled period end
- Receipting of non - stock parts.
- Data entry of PM task changes in the CMMS in accordance with approved task change forms.
- Performing periodic reviews, data collation and security reviews in accordance with approved procedures.
- Office administrator activities, filing, scanning and back up, storage of data as required.
- Assisting in housekeeping activities within the Engineering Workshop & Maintenance stores

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Good PC/typing skills
- Forklift Licence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience with CMMS system
- Previous experience with inventory & part management
- Some basic mechanical knowledge of valves & fittings
