About the role
Based in our Sydney CDB office, this role provides customer service and support to our diverse range of customers. This position will support our customers in face-to-face settings, via the phone and through email correspondence.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the Operations Manager, duties will include:
Processing customer orders via phone, email and in person (sales counter)
Preparing products for customer orders (order packing, freighting and invoicing)
Processing customer jobs for refining (job receipt, invoices and result entry)
Processing returns of customer proceeds from refining jobs
Maintain customer contact and account information
Administrative tasks (creditors/debtors, banking, product pricing and general office duties)
Provide sales support by meeting current and potential customers off-site
Research and build new customer relationships
Contribute to increasing sales volume and quality of service
Provide guidance and assistance to fellow team members when required
Maintaining a safe, timely, accurate, focused and security minded attitude towards your role
Required skills and experience
To be considered for this role, you will require:
Previous experience in a customer service or sales role
A proven focus on customer service, professionalism and teamwork
Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to work autonomously
Strong time management, organisational and communication skills
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Good computer competency (MS Office)
An enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and accountable attitude towards your role
Ability to learn new tasks, nomenclature and product information quickly
